We wanted you to see these pictures of the gelding we purchased last summer.  These shots are of “Rojo Come Ready" (Ready), now four, at a branding we recently attended in Wyoming.  This was only Ready’s second branding and the first one of the season.  He went right to work and pulled numerous calves with ease.  Minutes later, we were able to put our four year old daughter, Rylie, on him and turn them loose in the branding corral to push calves.  Let me tell you, there are not very many four year old horses that we would put our four year old daughter on, and even fewer that we’d turn loose with her (not to mention in the middle of a branding corral)!  We have hauled him cross country to Glacier National Park and Yellowstone for week long camping trips and tromped all over the hills with him.  We lead Rylie’s pony off of him and ride double with our 3 year old son, Tannon; sometimes both at once.  He takes everything in stride and is well behaved– nothing rattles him…even the occasional grizzly crossing.  Tannon even rode lead-line at an RMSC show on him this summer.

Ready is an exceptional horse – incredibly athletic, intelligent, willing, and gentle.  He has a lot of heart! Please pass on a “thank-you” to Russ and Justin for starting him so well, and keep up the good work!  Your quality and temperament are unbeatable!  You can guarantee that we won’t shop anywhere else when we’re ready for another one!
